A workshop for the farmer community
A workshop for the farmer community has been conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) at Jamuhar village of Mirzapur district, Uttar Pradesh on 2-06-2019 to spread awareness about “Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana – Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation” (RKVY-RAFTAAR) RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme supported by Department of Agriculture, Cooperation & Farmers Welfare (DAC&FW), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare, Government of India.
This workshop was organized in collaboration between Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) and Institute of Agricultural Sciences (I.Ag.S.), BHU, wherein, Prof. P. K. Mishra, Head, Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT (BHU), Prof. Ramesh Chand, Director, I.Ag.S., BHU and Prof. V. K. Mishra, I.Ag.S., BHU apprised the farmers / farmer producers of the region about the RKVY-RAFTAAR scheme and the benefits which farmers can draw out of it.
